If Not an AOAC Member and Not a Subscriber to the OMA Subscribe

Please read the following carefully because by using AOAC Official Methods of Analysis of AOAC INTERNATIONAL (OMA) online services, you are agreeing to abide by these Terms and Conditions of Use.

Limited License: Authorized users are permitted online access to OMA to which an AOAC individual member, subscribing institution or organization holds or held valid subscriptions with the Publisher. These Authorized users may download, save, or print text, or other information solely for private use or research.

Authorized users are AOAC individual members, or employees, faculty, staff and students who are officially affiliated with the subscribing institution or organization.
If a subscription to the OMA is purchased through a re-seller of the product, the authorized user and control of the passwords rests with the end user of the product and not the re-seller. Logins and passwords will be issued directly to the end user.

The subscribing organization or institution is responsible for distributing the user names and passwords that its authorized users may have access to OMA it subscribes to, and will use its best efforts to prevent unauthorized use, including making all reasonable efforts to inform authorized users of these guidelines.

Authorized users may NOT alter, recompile, copy, resell, redistribute, publish or re-publish, systematically download, operate a bureau service or print for fee service for distribution to unauthorized users the OMA content or any part thereof without explicit permission from the AOAC INTERNATIONAL, the copyright holder.

Passwords: You must immediately notify AOAC of any known or suspected unauthorized use(s) of your password, or any known or suspected breach of security, including the loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure of your password or any unauthorized access to or use of the OMA. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for ensuring the authorized access and use of the OMA.

Disclaimer: AOAC INTERNATIONAL is not responsible for any charges associated with accessing its online services, including, but not limited to, any computer equipment, telephone or Internet connections and access software.

AOAC INTERNATIONAL may modify any of these terms and conditions at any time by providing notice in this Terms and Conditions page. Your continued use of AOAC INTERNATIONAL’s OMA online services shall be conclusively deemed acceptance of such modification.

AOAC INTERNATIONAL may provide links to third-party websites. Where such links exist, AOAC disclaims all responsibility and liability for the content of such third-party websites. Users assume the sole responsibility for the accessing of third-party websites and the use of any content appearing on such websites.

Termination: If you refuse or fail to abide by these Terms and Conditions or violate any other terms of this Agreement, AOAC INTERNATIONAL reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate your access to the online service immediately without notice, in addition to any other available remedies.

Ownership: Unless otherwise specified, as owner and publisher, AOAC INTERNATIONAL holds all rights, including copyright in the OMA, and maintains these rights under all circumstances. The publisher reserves the right to withdraw the OMA in order to comply with any legal rule or court order, or if the publisher is at risk of liability from the continued availability of the OMA or part of it. AOAC INTERNATIONAL will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that the OMA is available to its members and subscribers, and to restore access as soon as possible in the event of an interruption. If and when a membership or subscription lapses, continued access will be terminated by the Publisher who will notify the member or subscriber of such termination.
